This is an exciting role, working within a small and dedicated team in the Global Medical Device Industry, a role you can really make your own.

The role will entail applying accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, the preparation of accurate and timely financial and management reports and statements.

Role and Responsibility

  • • Accounts Payable and Receivable reconciliation and management.
  • • Intercompany processing and reconciliation.
  • • Processing bi-weekly payroll.
  • • Weekly collation and publication of debtors, creditors and cash flow reports.
  • • Maintenance of capital expenditure documentation and asset number allocations.
  • • Responsibility of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and key performance indicator reporting.
  • • Preparation of supporting IAS/BAS/FBT schedules and submission.
  • • Preparation of R&D grant applications.
  • • Work closely with the external auditors and Accountants for monthly/ quarterly and annual reporting.
  • • Assist and report to CFO at Head Office on accounting based duties.

Education and Experience

  • • Accounting/ finance degree or similar.
  • • Completion/ commencement of post-graduate accounting studies preferable but not essential (i.e. CA/CPA).
  • • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • • Strong attention to detail.
  • • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
  • • Knowledge and Intermediate experience of related computer applications (i.e Excel, Unleashed, Xero).
  • • 1-5 years experience.
